Westman AA Softball Registration For the 2025 softball season,

Westman AA Softball is offering programming at the U11, U13, U15, and U17 levels. The opportunity to try out belongs to girls playing community ‘A’ softball in the Westman Region, as indicated by Sport Manitoba. If registrations allow, the committee is planning to form up to 3 teams per age category.

The registration deadline is Thursday, March 27, 2025.

•  Dates: to be determined (usually the beginning of May)

• Tryout Locations: to be determined

• Fee: $40 (non-refundable)

o there will be an additional fee of $15 for late registrations

Program Information

• During ‘A’ Season:

3-8 Friday and/or Sunday practices

Showcase Weekend: June 13-15 (locations to be determined)

• Completion of ‘A’ Season:

 practices and games to be decided by coaches

 Provincials:

July 25-27   U11 & U17: Carman    U13 & U15: Brandon

• Fee: to be determined (in the past, they ranged from $200-$350)

Additionally

 Westman AA Softball is requesting coaches for the following age categories: U11, U13, U15, and U17. Depending on player registrations and coach applications, the committee is planning to form up to 3 teams per age group. Similar to previous seasons, we are looking to base teams out of Brandon, the north, and the south.

Coach Certification Requirements

o Creating a Positive Sport Environment,

o Foundations of Coaching Softball:Part 1,

o Make Ethical Decisions, including Online Evaluation, and

o Community Softball Ongoing Participation.
