Tourism and Attractions

Upon arrival to Brandon, expect to instantly feel at home and welcomed by the community.  Brandon, the second largest city in Manitoba, is a community of just over 50,000 people with all the benefits of a larger center, but with a smaller-town feel.   Our uniqueness is felt while exploring the riverbank, experiencing our historic downtown and visiting our locally-owned shops and restaurants that provide a Brandon-only feel.

Riverbank Discovery Centre - This beautiful greenspace is home to an expansive trail system, outdoor art installations, canoe/kayak cove rentals and the Brandon & Region

Tourism Centre - complete with a gift shop!  The trail system includes the Red Willow pedestrian bridge which links the paths at Riverbank directly to the Ashley Neufeld Softball Complex.

Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum - The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum brings you back to the 1940s.  This World War II Royal Canadian Air Force training site showcases aircrafts, artifacts, memorabilia, and special exhibits.

Daly House Museum - Step back in time as you explore the original home of Brandon's first Mayor.  Built in 1882, the house contains four floors of artifacts and antiques.  While visiting the museum enjoy a stroll through the beautiful Victorian Garden.

Day Tripping - Brandon is considered by many to be the regional hub of western Manitoba with many amazing attractions within a quick drive of the city.  These include:

Spruce Woods Provincial Park - This park offers a unique sand dune environment and the eerie spring fed ponds of the Devil’s Punchbowl.

Riding Mountain National Park - Whether you are seeking adventure or relaxation, Riding Mountain has something for everyone. Explore the extensive trail system, spot a variety of wildlife, or visit the bustling resort town of Wasagaming located on the shores of beautiful

Clear Lake.
